Job Descriptions

 

• Ensure timely delivery of goods & materials in accordance to assigned schedule

• Verify goods against delivery order

• Obtain acknowledgment of deliveries made

• Collect payments when required, Account for cash or cheque payments

• Verify and account for returned items

• Ensure that all deliveries are carried out based on the delivery route planned

• Loading and unloading items from warehouse to vehicle

• Ensure that no items are damaged or lost during transportation

• Assist in Cycle Count and the accuracy of stock level.  Ensure fulfilment of all deliveries, issuing and receiving activities.

• Perform daily logistic operations including receiving, inspection of in/out goods, picking and packing, delivery and reverse logistics

• To comply to local traffic regulation and abide by speed limit and all vehicle safety regulations

• To check routinely that all trucks and related equipment are in working order, and to report to supervisor on any faults or need for repairs to reduce delivery downtime

• To maintain cleanliness in vehicle

• Ad hoc any other assignments from time to time

Requirements

 

• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in Transportation, Logistics/Warehousing.

• Able to drive the forklift, with a forklift license is a plus

• Have good and clean driving records

• Able to handle heavy weight item/equipment

• Physically fit and with positive attitude
